SETX Beacon brings neighbors together through local events, shared service, and genuine community connection — creating spaces where everyone belongs.
We build the kind of connections that make a region resilient — low-barrier, welcoming spaces where meaningful relationships happen.
From neighborhood gatherings to city-wide initiatives, every event is designed to foster real connection — not just attendance.

We collaborate with organizations already doing the work — amplifying impact rather than duplicating effort.

When funds are raised, here is how we intend to deploy them to maximize community impact:
The majority of all funds go directly to community events: venue coordination, event supplies, food and refreshments, and facilitator costs. This is the core of what we do.
Digital marketing, social media, print materials, and community outreach to ensure our programs reach the people who need them most across Southeast Texas.
Basic organizational costs: legal filings, accounting, insurance, and minimal administrative overhead. We keep this intentionally low as a commitment to our community.
SETX Beacon is committed to operating with full financial transparency from day one. As our organization grows and receives its first donations, we will publish annual reports, make our Form 990 filings publicly available, and maintain open books for all stakeholders and community members.
